Diamond Style Swirl Nose Stud in Sterling Silver

This nose stud is still one of my favorites, and I think it has the potential to become one of yours too. It captures the essence of the traditional diamond style stud because of the stone, and then moves away into what makes it individually unique:

• a high profile setting
• a swirl of sterling silver

This combination of old and new, tradition and invention, makes this nose jewelry an uncommon find.

I make these with a 3mm (almost 1/8") high quality zirconia faceted stone set in nickel free sterling silver.

A diamond nose stud with a twist. This one's for you - the person who isn't afraid to break with tradition in their nose jewelry choice and go with something classic that gives you just a little bit more.

I twist nickel free sterling silver around a perfect, high quality cubic zirconia to create this versatile bling that goes with everything.

  • 3mm (1/8") cubic zirconia stone
  • twist of sterling silver; total nose stud width about 4mm
  • total nose stud height is about 3mm

How To Choose Your Nose Stud Gauge and End Style

What is the nose jewelry gauge?

Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet

If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge

What are the different nose stud ends?

Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm

If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.

See here for more information about sizing / fitting & care.

Great, even though I needed to return them I selected wrong gauge. Darcey was on it with return request and information. She made it right.
