Aventurine Nose Stud in Sterling Silver
Green makes me think of the smell of the outdoors, and relaxing around a campfire in a clearing surrounded by tall trees. This nose stud has a simple, earthy quality that kind of 'takes me there' when I make it and when I wear it. Perhaps it will do the same for you.
• 3mm round (almost 1/8") natural light green aventurine gemstone
• set in nickel free sterling silver
How To Choose Your Nose Jewelry Gauge and End Style
What is the nose jewelry gauge?
Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet
If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge
What are the different nose stud ends?
Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm
If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.
