How To Choose Your Nose Ring Gauge and Interior Diameter
What is the nose jewelry gauge?
Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing. Most commonly nose jewelry gauges are either 18G or 20G.
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet
What is the interior diameter of a nose ring?
Your interior diameter is measured from the inside of the wire. A standard nose ring is 8mm, though depending on the size of your nose you may want a custom size, so I offer my nose rings in multiple interior diameters and custom made for you.
If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge and interior diameter.

The hoop is so pretty and very easy to put in. Unfortunately, although I measured my nose/piercing the way suggested, I got a size far too large for my nose. I just used some tweezers to bend the clasp so it would fit better and I’ve been wearing it ever since!
