Stem Gauge:
End Style:
Variant:

If sleek and shiny isn't your thing, this old nail nose stud just might be the organic touch you're looking for.

Handcrafted to look like an old nail, I hammer, antique, and brush these with steel wool in my studio to give them a unique effect.

  • nickel free sterling silver
  • 4mm (about 1/8")

A great match with my old nail stud/post earrings!

How to pick your gauge and end style

{{ GAUGE }}  is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet

If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge

 {{ ENDS }}

Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm

If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.

See here for more information about sizing / fitting & care.

Steampunk Nose stud

I was disappointed that the disc was so thin. It feels as if it is cutting into my nose.
