What could make a more delightful combination for a nose stud than an opal nestled in the center of a solid gold flower? I can't think of anything.

This floral nose stud is handcrafted in my studio using solid, 14 karat yellow gold. I chose an opal for the opulent center display because of the variety of colors opal exhibits - from blues to greens to in-betweens. If quality and beauty is what you seek in nose jewelry, your search can end at this piece.

• 4.5mm (approximately 3/16") flower nose stud
• 3mm (almost 1/8") select grade natural opal
• 14K solid yellow gold

How to pick your gauge and end style

{{ GAUGE }}  is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet

If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge

 {{ ENDS }}

Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm

If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.

This nose stud is beautiful and very well made, as is everything I've ordered from this shop.

I love the variety available, and that I can get them with a ball/bone end, which is difficult to find, and which I greatly prefer.
