One of the Coolest Things I've Ever Made

Sometimes a customer will ask for a specific thing and it becomes one of the coolest things I've ever made. That was definitely the case with this piece.

I had a customer ask me if I could make a hoop that had a little loop on it so a stud could go through it. I'd never seen something like that or even heard of it before, but it sounded really neat and I thought I'd "give it a go".

On my first try, I made a little circle out of thinner wire and soldered a straight wire to it. The tiny circle wasn't that easy to form nicely, so on my next try I selected a small jump ring and soldered the wire to it. Then I formed the ring portion. I loved it! Success!!

Next I thought about what could make it even cooler, and it didn't take me long to think double it up! The next piece I made was done with two wires to create a double look ring.

Any of my studs that are 3mm or larger work really nicely with this piece. The stud portion hides the open circle part and the two pieces together make it look like a ring with a decorative stud. The nice part is you can change up your look frequently.

How to rock this look? You can either purchase one of my 3mm or larger studs or use one of your own. To rock these particular styles, you can order my 4mm turquoise stud and a double enhancer, or my snowflake nose stud and a double enhancer. A single enhancer is a nice look too!
