How To Choose Your Nose Jewelry Gauge and End Style
What is the nose jewelry gauge?
Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet
If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge
What are the different nose stud ends?
Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm
If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.
Wondering a bit about nose ring or gauge sizes? Read my guide to sizing your nose ring or stud.
All nose rings and nose studs are hand-crafted, and made with sterling silver or 14 karat gold. Browse my collections for all different types of nose rings and studs.

Beautiful pieces
I could only leave nose rings in for about a week wh we n I noticed it was all black. So not very good experience.

Tarnish is something that's unavoidable with sterling silver. Your pieces can always be cleaned - forever, really. They don't chip or peel as they are silver all the way through. The rate of tarnish depends on a lot of factors, including skin composition. I'm sorry you weren't able to clean and then enjoy your piece again.
Beautiful nose stud
I ordered 2 studs for my nose. This one being a black stud. It was very easy to navigate the website, and lots to choose from! All of the jewelry is beautiful, and after I ordered, it didn’t take very long to receive my package! The little can that they came in is so cute, and so easy to keep the studs in! The studs themselves were absolutely gorgeous!!! I’m very happy with my purchase, and will be shopping here again!! Thank you Darcy!!
