Urban Elegance Pink Opal & Silver Nose Stud
You know whose drum you march to.
Combining traditional silversmithing techniques with my concept of "Nose Art" makes this piece of nose jewelry special. You'll love owning one.
I've set this with a pink opal because I love art that celebrates the contrast between soft and strong.
- nickel free sterling silver
- 3mm pink opal - lab created
- 7.5mm (a bit over 1/4")
How To Choose Your Nose Stud Gauge and End Style
What is the nose jewelry gauge?
Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet
If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge
What are the different nose stud ends?
Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm
If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.

My Favorite
This is my favorite piece, hands down. I’m in love with the pink opal. The flat setting around the raised stone gives it a unique look… like a larger piece yet smaller stone in center. I kerp looking for one I love as much. There are some BEAUTIFUL other pieces I really like but I definitely have purchased my favorite. Not sure if Darcey can outdo herself on this one. ❤️
So so so happy!!!
Do you offer custom work as well??
Rock Your Nose Jewelry Inc.
Hi Kristi, Thank you so much for your review! I customize my pieces and offer different stones in them if something else catches your eye, etc. I have almost no time for totally custom work, however. Thank you again :)
Beautiful and high quality
The piece was well packaged and arrived promptly and it's BEAUTIFUL!! High quality materials and lovely design.
Awesomeness
I purchase all my nose jewelry from Darcey and Im never disappointed! Awesome design/quality and service! Definitely my only go to for nose studs/rings.
