How To Choose Your Nose Jewelry Gauge and End Style
What is the nose jewelry gauge?
Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet
If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge
What are the different nose stud ends?
Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm
If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.

Absolutely beautiful piece and fabulous customer service!
When I initially purchased my stud, I bought the wrong gauge. Darcey was absolutely amazing in helping me find the right size. This is my second purchase from her, and I'll be buying more of her beautiful creations in the future!
Perfect size for the stone
The 3mm size really makes it big enough to show the gorgeous flecks of colour in the stone, while still remaining fairly dainty overall. The scalloped edge of the setting adds a perfect amount of subtle detail and complements the unique stone super well. This is my first time with a screw end, but it went in so much easier than I expected, fits perfectly, and I'm not at all worried about it falling out. Darcy was super helpful over email, and I absolutely love this stud.

The colors of the rainbow!
One more of several items I’ve purchased from Darcy. I have not been disappointed. This is a simple stud but the flash of the opal, along with the setting, make it seem “extra fancy” somehow. Shipping is always fast. Highly recommend getting your nose bling from Darcy.
The Best!
I have been ordering from Darcy for along time. Since my daugher was a teen, she's in her early twenties now. Every nose stud we've ordered has been of the highest quality. There is no other seller like her. Her designs are unique. She is honest and very positive. If you need to contact her, she gets back to you. Order from Darcy, you will be very satisifed and will always order from her. Thank you, Darcy .
