How To Choose Your Nose Stud Gauge and End Style
What is the nose jewelry gauge?
Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet
If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge
What are the different nose stud ends?
Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm
If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.

Labradorite Fancy Nose Stud
Darcey was attentive and truly personable from our first emails with my questions. I could surely feel the energy she put into crafting my nose ring. Highly recommend connections with her!
beautiful and unique
I am so grateful to have found such beautiful jewelry with great quality! Thank you.
Fun nosestud
The wavy edge makes this nosestud just a bit different and does justice to the beautiful labradorite stone. It's a nice size, big enough to be seen but not too big. The stud is also very comfortable. As on previous occasions, I was again impressed with Darcey's friendly and personal service.
