Opal and Sterling Silver Nose Stud
Everyone needs an opal nose stud and you'll love the way this one combines a pretty opal stone with intricate silver detailing, making it more than just a classic piece of nose jewelry. It will compliment everything you wear in a tasteful little design that doesn't overpower.
Why did I choose lab created opal?
- It saves you money without compromising quality and luster
- I use excellent quality stones that stand up to natural stones
My best friend has an October birthday, which makes this her birthstone, and she was thrilled when I made her a pair as a gift!
A perfect 3mm (1/8") stone size and nickel free sterling silver - always.
How To Choose Your Nose Stud Gauge and End Style
What is the nose jewelry gauge?
Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet
If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge
What are the different nose stud ends?
Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm
If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.

Amazing jewelry as ALWAYS!!
I have never ordered a product from Rock Your Nose that wasn’t a stellar product with stellar service. The shipping takes a bit but we’ll worth the wait. I’ve ordered jewelry that wasn’t quite the size I needed and it was easily exchanged for something that fit my needs. High quality, unique jewelry at fair prices. Thanks again for great customer service and your amazing works of art. I’ll keep ordering!!
