Opal and Sterling Silver Tangled Nose Stud
Your nose will thank you when you wear this tasteful twist around a wee opal nose stud.
I hand tangle each of these little coils, making a unique pattern every time, and set a pretty pinky opal stone in a claw setting. You can tell your friends yours is 'one of a kind', because it is.
- 2mm (just under 1/8") pink opal, lab created
- total size is about 3.5 - 4mm (a bit over 1/8")
- nickel free sterling silver
How To Choose Your Nose Stud Gauge and End Style
What is the nose jewelry gauge?
Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet
If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge
What are the different nose stud ends?
Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm
If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.

One is never enough!
I have so many of Darcey's creations and I love them all! I receive a lot of compliments! I have very sensitive skin and I have never had an issue with irritation. Darcey is so easy to work with to get exactly what you want - don't hesitate to ask for a variation on stone colour, fit, etc. Darcey's creations will never disappoint.

Love it!
I’ve been looking for something a bit more advanced than my usual nose piercings, which I typically bought in bulk because they’d constantly fall out. I had not braved the “L’s” but when I saw Darcey’s work, I decided to go for it. I absolutely love it! I went a bit bigger than my usual and am glad I did as I’ve gotten endless complements.
