How To Choose Your Nose Stud Gauge and End Style
What is the nose jewelry gauge?
Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet
If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge
What are the different nose stud ends?
Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm
If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.

Turquoise nose stud
I have been ordering from this shop for years now and am never disappointed! I really appreciate the customization and the quick responses. Thank you so much for your creations!
Super happy with this craft piece of jewelry!
Love that my stud was crafted to order. Great communication throughout the whole process and I’m overall very happy with my purchase.
Classic and versatile
I love turquoise! This has become my new daily wearer. It's bright and can dress up or down. Although turquoise and silver are used a lot in Native and western jewelry, this piece doesn't have a definitive style--it's very flexible. And like all pieces from Rock Your Nose, the quality is excellent.
My Nose
I love Darcey and her work is Great and she gets it back fast so your nose can look beautiful
