2mm Emerald and Sterling Silver Nose Stud

Looking to branch out from the tiny diamond? Emerald is the perfect leap!

I handcraft these to order in my home studio.

  • 2mm (1/16") lab created emerald gemstone
  • nickel free sterling silver

How To Choose Your Nose Jewelry Gauge and End Style

What is the nose jewelry gauge?

Gauge is the thickness of the part that goes through your piercing
20G is about the thickness of a regular earring post
18G is thicker than 20G
22G is thinner than 18G and 20G
24G is thinner yet

If you’re not sure, your own piercer, or a local piercer should be able to tell you your gauge

What are the different nose stud ends?

Screw ends point toward septum (see photos)
Screw end for left is your left nostril
Screw end for right is your right nostril
Bone ends are not threaded - they are a solid ball
Shaft lengths are 6.5mm
L ends are a straight shaft of 6.5’’ with a 5mm ‘tail’
Fishtail is a straight shaft of 17mm

If you have specialized requests for either gauge or end styles – for example 16G nose studs, or longer or shorter shaft lengths for nose studs, please contact me to discuss possible options.

See here for more information about sizing / fitting & care.

Fabulous Nose Studs & Wonderful Service

This was one of two nose studs that were ordered. They were beautifully made & exactly as ordered. They arrived really promptly & Darcey Lyn was so helpful in sorting out safe delivery to the UK despite the complexities of the current Covid19 situation. Huge Thank You Judy
